This is for wild and outlandish theories only! No creationism vs. big bang debates!
Recently, scientists have tried to recreate the big bang. I suspect that what these scientists view as the big bang was actually a group of scientists a billion years ago who tried to recreate what they saw as the big bang, which was actually a recreation done by scientists before them. History will soon repeat itself, and we shall create another big bang that will create another universe (and die in the process).
Post your thoughts/theories if you have them.

I have a theory, and this theory is basically one that cannot be tested. We are merely our own thoughts projected on a background on consciousness. Nothing is actually real, we are merely figments of our own imaginations. How do we know if we are being imagined or if someone is imagining us? We don't know, we merely have to accept that we exist now. My reasoning for this is that if someone walks from sight, are they still really there even though you can no longer see them? What if they actually vanish from existence when they are not in your thoughts or in your sight? Now then this is a brand of philosophy whose name currently escapes me, but it does lead in interesting thoughts does it not? It allows those questions of morals to crop up.
If everything is merely my imagination, or merely someone else's, then why would it be wrong to kill or to steal or do do anything bad? It leads to an interesting thought process does it not? Anyways, this is not my theory, but it is indeed a theory that has been considered in the past. Interesting, isn't it?

my theory is a solution to the information paradox.
all this matter flows into black holes. it zooms toward the nucleus of the black hole, gaining speed. eventually achieving light speed, then double light speed, then quadruple light speed, then octuple (if that is a real word) light speed, speeding up exponentially. eventually it speeds up to such speeds that it finally breaks free of the black hole. it is now traveling an unmeasurable amount of times faster than light speed. now, the accepted theory is that if matter travels faster than the speed of light, it goes backward in time. so it zips back to the start of the universe with all the other matter that ever got sucked into any black hole ever. from traveling at such high speeds it has separated out into the smallest parts of existence. this, combined with all the other particles, forms a pool from which springs forth matter, and therefore, the universe.
i'm sure that made absolutely no sense whatsoever.
