It's pretty Simple. I work in the US Army as a Combat Medic....however i do know more then just combat related medicine...if there is a medical question you wish to ask post it here...If i don't know it then i have a doctor i can ask at anytime (Faster then you trying to find one who will answer) But as to not have a useless post i will give a bit of advice.

This is a little thing we like to say It stands for Rest Ice Compression and Elevation say you hurt your Knee playing sports here's what you do Rest the leg...pretty much just stay off it Put ice on the injured location this should help reduce swelling Compression Does the same as Ice And Elevate the Knee above the heart...if you're just sitting around then you can just put it on a foot stool or something but when you lay down to sleep put a pillow or a blanket folded up to raise it 2-3 inches...this will also help to reduce swelling. any thing more I will leave you to ask....every now and then however i will post more advice so check back from time to time.
