Nup, my dilemma was a question I gave people that posed a moral dilemma, my actual question is asking your opinions on the matter im investigating By posing it in a direct way, people can unconsciously guess what you're trying to get, and answer with socially accepted answers rather than the ones they actually think

Right, forgot that the direct approach is inevitably flawed by people not wanting to say what they really think... For the record, I'm not actually trying to get at anything, I'm just curious.
